Please help towards Rhys's fight!!

For those of you who aren't aware, Rhys Schmitz has been training for the past year to compete in Boxing at the 2023 Pacific Games. Up until 2 weeks ago, Rhys was at his best and ready to take on the Solomon's and represent his little island home, Norfolk Island.

Just when he was about to reach his competing weight, Rhys's health took a turn for the worse. He was hospitalized here on Norfolk Island which put his dream of competing on the line and then, was soon medevacked to Royal Brisbane Hospital.

After extensive testing the heart-breaking news came to him, his family and friends that Rhys had been diagnosed with cancer.

Rhys and his family are now praying that the 48-hour heavy dose of chemo will give them the hope that they need.

With this absolutely devastating and heart-breaking news, he and his beautiful family need all the support that we can give them and they are so overwhelmed with the support that they have been shown so far.

To help with some of the financial stress that Rhys's loved ones are facing on top of this, I am setting up this GoFundMe for anyone wishing to donate and help assist them in this time of need and we ask you all to please get behind this young man and his loved ones as they have done for so many others.
