Help Tony Macaroni Get Back on His Paws

Meet Tony Macaroni.

Tony is our 2½-year-old Staffie and, although we may be slightly biased, he really is one of the most lovable dogs you could ever meet.

We run a small working farm which we open to visitors, and Tony has definitely become a big part of the family experience. He absolutely adores people and, over time, he has become the farm superstar.

Visitors regularly leave the most wonderful comments about him. Children love him and we’ve noticed how much he helps children who are anxious about their visit to settle in when they visit us. Somehow, Tony just seems to know when someone needs a quiet cuddle, a bit of company, or a waggy tail beside them.

He’s not trained to do this. He’s simply Tony. ❤️

Unfortunately, our big, daft, gorgeous boy has torn his cruciate ligament and needs an operation to repair it.

The estimated cost of the surgery is at least £3,600, which is a huge amount for us to find unexpectedly. We didn’t have insurance for Tony, so we’re now faced with the difficult job of finding the money to get him the treatment he needs.

Anyone who has met Tony will know that he is much more than just our pet, he is part of our farm, part of what makes our visitors feel welcome, and a very special member of our family.

So, rather reluctantly, we’re asking for a little help.

If Tony has ever made you smile, given you a cuddle, welcomed you onto the farm, helped a nervous child feel more comfortable, or simply made your day with his ridiculous Staffie personality, we’d be incredibly grateful for anything you can spare towards his operation.

Every donation, however small, will help us get Tony back on his paws and back where he belongs — on the farm, greeting everyone who comes to visit.

If you are unable to donate, please don’t worry. Sharing Tony’s fundraiser could make just as much difference.

Thank you so much for reading, and from Tony Macaroni himself… a big thank you from the bottom of his wiggly Staffie bottom. ❤️

We promise to keep

You updated on his operation and recovery.
