Please help to support the Nickel Family.
Donation protected
Last week we received the terrible news that 23 year old Noah Nickel had suddenly and unexpectedly died. Please help us in supporting Eric, Marianna, and Bella during these trying times.
While the Nickel Family is now going through these most difficult days, coming to terms with the tragic loss of their son, Eric shared that the family is together and that they are grateful for the sympathy and support that they are receiving from friends and colleagues; and that everyone’s love and support is comforting. The entire family had recently spent time in Montana together on vacation, which Eric describes as magical. That special time together is how they will remember Noah.
The Fire and Emergency Services family wish to express our sincere condolences and would like to ask that you help to spread the word via social media and through your contacts during this tough time in order to reach those who wish to help.
Fire Chief Nickel has dedicated over 30 years to helping others when they needed it the most, please assist us in doing the same for Eric and family.
Once the donations have been gathered, any funds received will be made to charities that were important to Noah in his name to honor his memory.
Update (8/6/2019):
The family has identified two (2) charities that were important to Noah that we believe will continue the legacy of service that Noah was part of. The donations will be split amongst these -
Halleck Creek Ranch in Nicasio supports people with disabilities and their families with therapeutic horseback riding. This promotes a unique sense of freedom and mobility, allowing riders to imagine the future, and to enjoy the present, in a way they never thought possible. Noah spent many weekends at the ranch supporting riders and assisting in chores around the ranch. He continued to volunteer his time when home from college.

The Poverello Center in Missoula, Montana provides food, shelter, help and hope to Missoula’s homeless and hungry. The Center has a particular emphasis on supporting homeless veterans and Noah served as a volunteer there.
