Please help to support a friend in need of a new home....

Hi there,

I'm setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of one of my best friends, Kirsty Lennox.

I'll try and keep this as brief and to the point as I can.

Kirsty (far left, main picture) has been made suddenly homeless right before Christmas. Kirsty was at home when her landlord and housemate attempted to take their own life by setting the house on fire while Kirsty was also in it. Thankfully, the housemate is alive and recovering in hospital, but this has left Kirsty in a hugely unsafe environment that she cannot stay in and she has been forced to leave and seek temporary accomodation with her friends.

Kirsty is the kind of person who would give someone else the clothes off her back if it would help them out. She has a huge heart and is an endless source of support, kindness and selflessness for those that know her and even towards those that don't, she has seemingly limitless compassion for wanting to help the people around her. In the years that I have known her, she has supported me through some really turbulent times that I don't know how I'd have gotten through if she hadn't been there with me, and she has gone on to become a great support to my family too.

Now it is our time to help Kirsty when she needs it the most and I really hope that you will join me. I am setting this GoFundMe up to help Kirsty secure new accomodation for Christmas and to prevent a winter of couch crashing with friends while attempting to hold down a busy job. All funds raised will go towards deposits, up front rent needs and any associated costs such as moving trucks etc.

I'm highly aware it's a tough time of year with Christmas right around the corner and money feeling tighter than ever, but whatever you can spare to help Kirsty find a new home and pay for deposits, moving costs etc will be massively appreciated.
