Please help to save our FIP kitty's life

Chancleta, aka Clayton, has been with our rescue since he was a tiny baby in the summer of 2021. We have watched him go from a robust, big boy in search of a forever home with his brother to a skinny, weak, and sickly boy.

In February, he had a sudden onset of abdominal effusion, and having taken care of more than two dozen cats with FIP over the past few years, we knew right away that this is what he had been battling for months.

My rescue is completely broke. Our bank account currently has a negative balance due to buying food for our rescues. I am penniless, as I have sold everything I own to continue caring for our 58 babies and to keep everything running with zero funding. I spend all day caretaking and begging the powers that be and the public for money for us to make it through just one more day, so if a medical emergency arises, there is nothing to fund it.

We need to get Chancleta blood work and some medication to get him officially started with treatment. If I had it, I'd pay for it myself, as I have done for years. When I was financially fit, I funded treatment for other people's cats worldwide and was constantly looking for ways to save lives within the FIP community.

But things have changed a lot for me and my rescue since then. I am in financial ruin and the well is dry. I cannot stand by and watch our sweet boy go without what he needs any longer. He responded so well to the only two doses we had a couple of months ago, and we're confident that he will respond even better to regular treatment and the official protocol.
