Please Help To Save Natalia's Life
Dear friends,
I am writing to you with a heavy heart and a humble request. My friend Natalia, whom I've been know since she was 3 years old, is in urgent need of a kidney transplant surgery. At 3 years old Natalia was diagnosed with diabetes of 1st type. She has been suffering from chronic kidney disease for the last few years, and her condition has worsened recently. She is on dialysis, but that is not enough to keep her alive. She needs a new kidney as soon as possible, or she will not survive.
Natalia is a wonderful person who has always been kind, generous, and compassionate. She is a loving mother of a 2 year old and a devoted wife. She has touched the lives of many people with her smile, her humor, and her courage. She is a fighter, but she cannot fight this battle alone. She needs our help.
The cost of the kidney transplant surgery is estimated to be $30,000, which is beyond what Natalia and her family can afford. They have exhausted all their savings and other sources of income. They are facing a financial crisis, as well as an emotional one. That is why I am reaching out to you, and asking you to join me in supporting Natalia and her family in this difficult time.
Any amount of donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. Your generosity will help Natalia get the surgery she needs, and give her a chance to live a normal and healthy life.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter, and for considering this request. I hope you will join me in showing Natalia that she is not alone, and that we care about her. She is very grateful for your support and prayers. Together, we can make a difference in her life.
Thank you,
Oksana Glukhova
P. S.
Below I am also copying the original letter from Natalia's mother asking for help (both in Russian and English)

Hello,
I am Kiryushkina Olga Yurievna. I live in Tashkent.
In 1995, my only 3-year-old daughter Natasha Kiryushkina was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (insulin-dependent). At that moment, her whole life and ours turned upside down. There were insulin injections 4 times a day, and punctures in the fingers to determine blood sugar to this day several times a day, there was no longer any living space left on the fingers.
9 years ago in 2014, complications with the kidneys began. Consultations with doctors and treatment in hospitals did not give good results; every year sugar ate away at the kidneys. And during 2023, the tests deteriorated sharply, and there was no longer any chance of recovery. Kidney function remained at 5%
With her weight of 46 kg, she now weighs 59 kg. The swelling is only increasing every day. An alternative way to live is hemodialysis. Blood transfusion and purification through an artificial kidney apparatus. The procedure lasts 4 hours every other day.
But there is a way out: a kidney transplant from a related donor. As a mother, I wanted to donate my kidney, but due to health reasons, my kidneys were not suitable, and her father's kidney was also not suitable due to a heart attack. Natasha has a husband who is ready to give away his kidney. But since he is not a blood relative, this will require additional medical procedures.
We contacted different clinics abroad, the options vary in price. In Belarus, we will need about $100,000 for a double transplant, pancreas and kidney. Then she would get rid of diabetes forever! But this is not a lifting amount for us. In our case, so far only a kidney transplant in Turkey or India, where it is much cheaper, about $25,000-30,000.
The operation itself, plus round-trip flights, accommodation before and after the operation for about two months and unforeseen expenses for treatment during the operation, the cost of three people - the patient, the donor and the accompanying person.
For the transplant, we need to undergo several hemodialysis procedures here; for this, Natasha had surgery on her arm, connecting a vein to an artery. After several procedures, she will be ready for transplantation.
BUT WITHOUT YOUR PARTICIPATION AND HELP WE CAN’T DO IT
I appeal to all caring people! I ask you to help my daughter Natasha. She is the only one I have and she has a two-year-old daughter who needs a mother to raise her.
