A tragic event has struck our family. A man who became my father when I was just 10 years old, who raised me and always took care of me, is now seriously ill. He has worked hard all his life, sparing no effort to provide for my mother and me. He has done everything he could for me, and I truly consider him my father. He also has a deep love for animals, always saving and helping them whenever he can.
Ilfat been diagnosed with stage 3 rectosigmoid cancer, complicated by a severe mutation of the KRAS G13D gene, shortly before his 50th birthday. An emergency operation was performed, and after six months of chemotherapy in Seattle, we were devastated to learn that the treatment has not been effective.
Now, Ilfat's only hope lies in specialized treatment at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston—one of the leading cancer hospitals in the world. Unfortunately, his insurance will not cover this treatment, and the costs are prohibitively high. Ilfat is scheduled for a full examination and consultation at MD Anderson on June 11. The cost is $14,405.30. After that, Ilfat will be prescribed treatment and the doctors will tell you the cost of the treatment. We are doing everything we can, but we can not do this alone. We are reaching out for help to get Ilfat the care he desperately needs and deserves.
