Hello everyone, my name is Carlos, and today I am humbly asking for your support for my mother, María de Lourdes, who is 55 years old and lives in Chiapas, México.

In September 2025, she began losing weight suddenly for no apparent reason. Despite undergoing several checkups through the public health system in my hometown, doctors were unable to determine the cause. She was diagnosed with sudden-onset diabetes, but shortly after, she developed jaundice, which caused her skin and eyes to turn yellow. At first, her symptoms were mistaken for hepatitis, which delayed the correct diagnosis.

Despite her worsening symptoms and visible physical deterioration, the public health system in our town scheduled further, more in-depth testing for April 2026, a timeline we simply could not wait for.

With all our efforts, my brother and I managed to gather the resources to take her to private medical care as quickly as possible. After specialized studies, we finally received a diagnosis confirming pancreatic cancer, with a rapidly growing tumor that requires urgent surgery.

We currently do not have medical insurance, and we live in a small town in Mexico without the necessary medical technology. For this reason, we must transfer her as soon as possible to a city with better medical infrastructure and cover the costs of surgery, lodging, and post-operative recovery.
