Please help to restore their lives!

I would like to introduce you to my daughter Jennifer and her fiancé, Russell. They live near the town of Burnsville, NC. Jennifer is an elementary school teacher and Russell is a line technician for a manufacturing facility. Most of you know of the devastation Hurricane Helena has caused all through western North Carolina as well as other states. We cannot even begin to comprehend the magnitude of this disaster!

Jennifer and Russell survived 8 hours of devastating wind, rain and falling trees hiding in a stairwell. It is only through Gods mercy they are still alive! After being stranded for over two days, Emergency responders were able to airlift them out by Blackhawk helicopter.

All roads in and out of the area where they live have been destroyed and county officials and Power Company representatives say it will take months or even longer before these roads can be rebuilt and power restored.

They have lost everything! Their home has been destroyed, as well as their cars. They literally escaped with the clothes on their backs.

A very temporary place to stay has been provided but it is imperative for Jennifer and Russell to find more permanent housing.

As Jennifer’s father, I implore you to help these two wonderful people restore their lives. I am asking you to donate what you can and please share this post with as many people as possible.
