Meet Baby Margo, a sweet 6 month old Rottweiler puppy with the gentlest soul and the brightest eyes. Earlier this year, my best friend stepped in to rescue Margo unexpectedly, making sure she didn’t get passed from pillar to post. She finally had a safe, loving home - and a big Rottie brother, Stan, to look up to and play with.
But soon after arriving home, Margo started to struggle. At first it was suspected she'd sprained her ankle from playing with her big brother, but further tests revealed something much more sinister. She’s been diagnosed with fragmented coronoid process (elbow dysplasia), a painful condition that makes it almost impossible for her to run, play, or even walk without discomfort. The only way she can live a pain-free, happy life is through urgent surgery.
Unfortunately, although Margo is insured, this counts as a pre-existing condition because the problem began as soon as she came home. That means her surgery isn’t covered, leaving her family facing a huge financial hurdle - one they can’t overcome alone. The original scan has already been paid for but the insurance claim was denied as shown in the pictures.
Margo is still just a baby. She deserves the chance to enjoy her puppyhood while she still can; chasing toys, snuggling with Stan and her best friend Gary, and running free without severe pain. With your help, we can give her that chance.
Every single donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards her surgery and recovery. If you’re unable to donate, sharing Margo’s story means the world too.
Please help us give Baby Margo the gift of a happy, pain-free life. She’s already brought so much love to her family and big brother Stan - now she just needs a little help to get back on her paws
