My daughter is a single mom of two autistic children, 18 and 15 years old. Her transmission has gone out on her 2017 Dodge Caravan, and she doesn't have the funds to fix it. The quote was $4500 to start. She works a full-time job at a grocery store, but since her daughter graduated in May, she lost her child support. She just had to replace the roof on her house which is an extra payment for her. She is barely making ends meet and has to be able to get to and from work. Without her van, she has no other way. If she can't work, she will lose her house and the barely running vehicle she is making payments on.
