On September 27th, Jerry was taken to the hospital by his wife Tiffany to be evaluated when she noticed he was seeming disoriented and struggling to speak. Once at the hospital, they discovered Jerry had suffered a stroke, has pneumonia, and needed surgery to remove blood clots from his lungs. As of today, it is still unknown if there is a clotting disorder (whether it be from cancer, genetic disorder, hyper-coag blood condition, etc). Because of all of the unknowns, Jerry has undergone multiple CT scans, an MRI, many blood tests, and remains hospitalized. He is scheduled for another surgery soon to remove blood clots from his legs, but must remain hospitalized leading up to/after surgery due to his condition. At this time, there is not a set date for him to be released from the hospital.
As you can imagine, costs continue to rise, adding to the already stressful time they are enduring. The Daschofsky family is so loved and I know so many of us would like to help ease the financial burden from medical expenses and loss of work. If you could please send love, good thoughts, and possibly donate to help during this stressful time, it would be so appreciated!
