Hi,

on Sunday 11th January we had noticed that our cat Bobby had not returned home, after a day we started to worry as this isn’t like him at all. We put Facebook posts on local pages and everyone has been so kind and helpful. Nearly 2 weeks has passed and we definitely knew that something had happened to him or maybe someone had taken him in.

22nd January we received a call from our vets to tell us that someone had found Bobby. We were expecting him to be dead but he was actually still alive he had been caught in a trap that someone had left down.

we arrived at the vets and told that we can save his life and he will have a good quality of life but they cannot save his leg, we went to see him and I couldn’t believe me eyes, the trap that was attached to his leg was unbelievable and I cannot believe someone would leave this in such an easy place for a pet to get trapped into.

this is costing us £1500 in vet bills - we simply do not have this, we have a little girl who is 6 and is absolutely devastated as she loves him so much.

I wouldn’t normally do anything like this but he deserves to live the rest of his life happy with his family at home.

even if it’s just a £1 just anything you could help us with I would be extremely grateful.
