Please help Titch after a vicious dog attack

Hi, my name is Gem and I am trying to raise funds to help my mum with vet bills after Titch was brutally attacked yesterday by a Rottweiler that was roaming without an owner.

Around 12pm 17/02/2024 my mum took little Titch for a walk to the small park located on Chalcombe Avenue (Harborough Road end). If you are familiar with the park, you will know that the park has a hidden section that cannot be seen until you have fully entered the park. Mum was alone with Titch and as they both entered the park, Titch proceeded forward when a Rottweiler charged towards them. The Rottweiler attacked Titch, Titch is a Lhasa Apso. As a result of this attack, Titch is currently undergoing life changing surgery to have part of his bottom jaw removed. This will also leave Titch disfigured, regardless, he is and will always be perfect to us in every way!

At present the vet bill has been quoted between 5-7k

family and friends are supporting as much as they can. I fully appreciate how hard times are and ask that any support will be forever, greatly appreciated.

My mum is fairly well known in Kingsthorpe due to her massive heart and such a loving nature. Anyone that know my mum, Lorraine, will know Titch is my mums life! She absolutely dotes on Titch and will always do everything she can to help any animals in need.

Lorraine isn't just someone who lives off chalcombe avenue, she is the woman who walks her tiny dog up n down chalcombe, she is the kindest most caring resident we have around here. She would help anyone who needs it even if they don't, there is not an animal that could go hungry while Lorraine is around. Anyone who has had the pleasure to come across Lorraine will no titch is her world he's her everything. And as a lady who doesn't have much I can only imagine these vet bills will be un imaginably high. As she would give her right arm to help someone she didn't even no with vet bills it's only rite we can share this go fund me or even 1 step better donate. This incident has been reported to the police but unfortunately, Dog on dog attack is not a crime, but a civil matter. The main concern is that this Rottweiler is dangerous and we have a general concern for members of the public and their

I am not bad naming this bread of dog at all and appreciate that it was animal instincts but the owner has a responsibility to maintain its dogs safety and the safety of others from its dog.

If you happen to see the Rottweiler in the chalcombe area, please do not approach and report to police.
