Hello my name is Allan and I am the owner of Tippy who is a 9 year old female greyhound. Tippy and I had finished our walk on Tuesday and I was loading her into the car when she was attacked by a dog that came from nowhere, two other dogs that were close by also joined in (3 onto 1). It resulted in Tippy receiving a broken leg and several deep cuts and lacerations requiring surgery. Being over 8 we could not get Pet Insurance for her. One of the owners of one of the other dog who is a responsible owner gave me their details and is willing to help out but unfortunately the others appear to have given the incorrect details and I can't get in touch with them. The total is larger than you may expect and there will be ongoings. IF I can possibly get any help with the operation costs I would be extremely grateful anything after that I will cover and anything over the initial operation cost will go to GAP (Greyhounds as Pets).
