PLEASE HELP THIS YOUNG FAMILY IN TRYING TIMES

Adam and Zaynah are a young couple just beginning their life together. In March 2023, they welcomed their first-born son, Wyatt, marking the start of their new family. Adam works in the construction trades, while Zaynah is embarking on a career in medical coding and billing, all while raising their adorable baby. Life seemed blessed, and a bright future was on the horizon.
However, in October of this year, Zaynah received the results of a thyroid tumor biopsy, which came back positive. She underwent a thyroidectomy in late November at the James Cancer Center at OSU. The post-operative pathology report in early December revealed lymphatic invasion. Zaynah is scheduled to meet with her cancer team at the end of this month to discuss her treatment options moving forward.
On December 12th, Adam developed a headache, fever, and nausea. By Friday the 13th, he was admitted to the emergency room at Fairfield Medical Center. Doctors discovered an abscess behind his sinus cavity, and he was transferred to OSU late that evening. Early Saturday morning, Adam underwent emergency surgery to drain the infection. Surgeons removed the frontal bone of his skull and part of the frontal lobe of his brain that was infected. They also drained his sinus cavity and installed a metal plate across his forehead. On Sunday, he underwent a second surgery to rebuild his sinus cavity and correct a deviated septum. Adam is currently resting quietly, in good spirits, and will begin a six-week course of IV antibiotics.
We understand that in the current economy, times are tough for everyone, especially during the already stressful holiday season. It is difficult to ask for monetary help, but we welcome all forms of support, both spiritual and financial, no matter how small. Starting a new family is challenging under normal circumstances, and with Adam's recovery and Zaynah's future cancer treatments, they truly need support to avoid falling behind so early in their journey.
God bless all those who can help.
