Hello all and thank you for taking the time to read my blurb.  I feel awkward starting this GoFundMe but I don't have many options and the answer is always no if you never get up the courage/swallow your pride and ask for help.  My name is Melissa.  I'm a ER nurse.  I've been a nurse for 20 years and am used to being "essential personel" and having to make it to work in terrible weather conditions.  I've never had a problem driving on ice or snow until now.  As I was making my way home from work the other night, I started sliding on ice and the tail end of my truck came up and I was sliding sideways.  I was pretty calm initially, gently trying to guide the truck... and then I noticed that I was headed for the side of the bridge that I was on... then I noticed how very dark it was down there.  I panicked and  I hit my brakes... I hit the railing head on but kept spinning/sliding down the road.  My neck hurt immediately and the rest of my body followed suit later, but I am blessed to have faired as well as I did.  My truck however didn't do as well and it was the only vehicle I have right now.  I only had liability on it, so insurance won't pay anything.  I've had a rough time of things like everyone else... was without a job for a few months (couldn't pay anything, utilities got cut off, then got evicted.... living with mom again, so looking up)... but my credit is terrible now so lenders dont want to work with me.  I need to come up with enough money to pay cash for a dependable vehicle that can handle crazy weather when it hits.  Some kind of 4WD is ideal.  I'll take anything safe and dependable though, I've got to get back to work!

Anything you can spare is appreciated more than I can ever say.  Even if you can't help financially, shares and prayers are amazingly beneficial and appreciated as well!
