After fighting for the last 3-4 months to get some form of relief, Mark Shonts passed away on January 1st, 2026.

The family had exhausted all their funds to hospital bills and treatments, turned in PTO, missed work without pay, etc.

Not only are funerals devastating because you lost someone you love and a piece of you is missing, but the cost can be absurdly out of reach. Mark did not have any funeral prep done in advance, nor did he have any life insurance in place.

The family has given their ALL and has come up short by $5,000 just for the funeral. Ronda, Mark's wife, is left with no income, no way to pay bills or put food on the table.

I am asking that we rally and help this family! I know Christmas just happened and no one really has extra money lying around, but please find it in your heart to give whatever you can to this family.
