This is Josh. Josh is a disabled Marine. Josh served from 2004-2013 and was in Iraq for 2 tours:
2005-2006 Al Qa’im, Iraq
2006-2007 between Fallujah and Ramadi. He received a brain injury in a post-vehicle accident and was diagnosed in 2009 with PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) with headaches, migraines, vision issues, anxiety, and panic disorder. In addition, Josh often spends months at home due to the panic disorder.
His VA treatment has largely been repeated prescription drug dosages.
Recently, Josh called to talk in tears about his pain, his Traumatic Brain Injury, overwhelming anxiety, and the VA’s drug treatment plan. I was immediately scared that he would become another soldier suicide statistic.
He shared that he had recently tried to get the VA to order treatment that several of his buddies had gotten at the Amen Clinic in Miami, FL.
The Amen Clinic guides the patient through their simple 4-step process:
Scan Your Brain – Discover how your brain function is impacting your mental health, cognitive function, and behavior.
Assess Your History – Review the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors that influence your life.
Get A Personalized Plan – No more one-size-fits-all treatment. Our physicians will customize your treatment plan based on your specific brain type and individual needs.
Get Real Results – Medication alone to mask symptoms isn’t the answer. A comprehensive brain-body approach that addresses the root causes of your symptoms is the key to feeling better fast and making it last.
This 4-step process works!
Over 80% of their patients report significant improvement after six months, according to outcome studies.
The entire many-month process plus travel and housing will cost near $14,000.
Please help me to help Josh regain his freedom and health that this hero deserves!
