Please help the Winchelsea Wildlife Shelter

Hello, my name is Em.

On Sunday 19 May 2024 I will be running the Great Ocean Road 44km marathon (Lorne to Apollo Bay) to raise funds for Barb, the owner and most amazing human being, of Winchelsea Wildlife Shelter. This is a cause I am truly passionate about - our Australian native wildlife need us more than ever and Barb devotes herself, her home and her shelter to their care. Barb shows each and every animal pure love, compassion and kindness. She is an inspiration. She accepts wildlife at any time of the day or night. She travels long distances to rescue animals. She goes above and beyond to give every individual animal the best chance at thriving and being released back into the wild.

I am a rescuer of native animals and have witnessed first hand the love and care Barb shows for each animal I have taken to her. I would cherish the opportunity, by raising funds for Barb, to return the support she kindly provides to me.

Operating a wildlife shelter is completely self-funded. All the costs of food, treatments and housing each and every animal comes directly out of Barb’s pocket. Barb needs our help please to keep the shelter operating.
