Sixto Sanchez Estrada went home to our heavenly Father on Saturday, August 21st, at the age of 61. Covid continues to have a devastating impact on families, emotionally and financially, and losing someone like Sixto has hit the family hard. He was the beloved husband of Irma Sanchez, father of Miguel Sanchez and Miriam Rodelo, and a loved grandfather of 5 grandkids.
Sixto was admitted to the hospital for Covid, eventually came down with Covid Pneumonia, and ultimately never recovered.
While Sixto was battling with Covid, his family was not able to visit him for the three weeks before he passed, nor were they prepared for the financial burden of a funeral and burial. The Estrada family is devasted. While family and friends have been very generous, helping with the costs of the funeral, Mrs. Estrada is now also burdened with the challenge to cover medical bills and living expenses on a single income. The family would greatly appreciate donations to fund a headstone at his burial site. If you are able to share any amount of monetary donation, it would help support this wonderful family in their time of grief without enduring the additional financial strain.
Sixto was very proud of his grandkids. He never missed a birthday, special event or holiday with them. The family always looked forward to their annual trip to Disneyland and most recently visited Universal Studios in California over the 4th of July. Please remember Sixto through the pictures that captured so many wonderful memories with family and of the grandkids with their “Taguelo”
The family graciously appreciates your generosity during this most difficult time.
