Many of you know and love Steph, Andrew, Keira, Benjamin, and Molly. They were given a beautiful gift in the early hours of New Year's Day with a Kidney for Benjamin. The surgery went smoothly. However, he is unfortunately now in very critical condition in the PICU at CHOP. He has developed post-operative respiratory failure from pneumonia and is currently fighting for his life to beat pneumonia while also being on immunosuppressant drugs to protect against a rejection of the new kidney.

Steph and Andrew have been keeping vigil at his bedside the past 4 days. To make matters more complicated, Steph is also expecting a new baby. She is being followed by the Special Delivery Unit at CHOP and will more than likely deliver prematurely in the coming days or weeks and have a long NICU stay with this new baby at CHOP.

We are hoping to raise money for Steph and Andrew, as transportation, housing needs, and food are becoming a huge stressor, all while being on a leave from work. Please consider a donation of any amount for this beautiful family to make this impossible time a little less difficult for them.
