Please Help Greg & Amanda
Donation protected
In February 2021, my son-in-law Greg was diagnosed with an incurable disease called Pulmonary Fibrosis. This is a lung disease that occurs when lung tissue becomes damaged and scarred. This thickened, stiff tissue makes it more difficult for your lungs to work properly. As this disease worsens it makes it difficult for one to even do daily tasks due to being short of breath. In December of 2021, Greg’s doctor gave him a life expectancy of 6 months - 2 years, and said that it was a lot closer to the 6 months. He has had a rapid and sudden progression with fibrosis and widespread scarring the past month making it extremely difficult for him to breathe.
He is on home oxygen at 5 liters and his 02 drops dramatically -- into the 30s a lot -- simply from eating or using the restroom. He is pale and sleeps a lot. Greg sees 5 doctors, all of them once a month, a couple of them 2-3 times a month. He’s on a ton of prescriptions. Copays & prescriptions are expensive. Oxygen is almost $200 a month. Their health insurance is right at $200 a week and theycan’t lose it. They also have all of their other bills, groceries, gas, car payment, Their six year old is back in school and that isn’t cheap either. Greg can’t work and Amanda has missed a lot between taking care of Greg and being sick herself.
They have gotten behind on EVERYTHING and could really use some help catching back up. All donations are greatly appreciated. They also have Cashapp if you would rather use it. We understand if you can’t help out. Please keep them in your prayers. They need all the prayers that they can get.
Thank you in advance!
