My name is Dave Musgrave founder of the Rugby League Fan Club and I'm raising money for Barrow Raiders

The team has been drawn away to London Broncos in the 1895 Cup, and the board is hoping to raise around £5,000 to fund an overnight stay in London. This would allow the players and staff to prepare properly for what could be a huge and winnable cup tie.

At the same time, the club is dealing with serious cash flow pressures due to a lack of home fixtures over a two-month period. With only one home league game scheduled across February and March, and the loss of a planned home fixture following the liquidation of Halifax Panthers, vital matchday revenue has been lost.

The club remains up to date with wages, pensions, and all financial commitments, but these exceptional circumstances have created a short-term financial strain.

This fundraiser will help cover the costs of accommodation, meals, and travel for the London trip, and provide crucial support to ensure the club can navigate this difficult period and continue competing strongly on and off the field.
