Tamer Hassan Earthquake Appeal

My name is Tamer Hassan, British/ Turkish Cypriot actor.

The reason I reach out to you today is the horrific and massive earthquake that has hit and devastated regions and cities of my motherland. You can only imagine the destruction this huge earth quake has caused when it ripped through these beautiful lands! Reports are now over 24,000 dead leaving millions affected , many are now homeless.

I am currently in Cyprus working with a group of volunteers to gather as many supplies as we can sending them to the most affected areas, it’s not easy and we desperately need your help. I have close friends and family in some of these affected area and the stories I am hearing first hand are indescribable and images there are no words for. There are survivors STILL OUT THERE! They are pulling people out from under the rubble as we speak.

The focus on our part, are those that have survived and are displaced but now battling the elements and living without a roof over their heads in freezing conditions. We are in need of blankets, water, food, tents, baby food , nappies ..everything you can imagine that can keep these desperate people going!

Every penny helps, I know times are tough for most of us but I am pleading to you my friends , family, fans and followers ,do you part!! no matter how small , I promise you I will make sure these funds go to precisely what they are being raised for and that’s to help these poor earthquake victims.
