My name is Whitney and I'm Carl's eldest daughter.  I currently live on the otherside of the ocean. On the morning of December 5th I recieved a call that my dad had a massive heartattack and was in surgery. Thankfully with the help and support of family I was able to be by my dads side in 48hrs.

The night I arrived my dad had a lethal arrythmia and I thought I had just arrived to see him go. Luckily, I was wrong! My father has always been so strong and determined and, that night was no exception. 

Sadly due to my dads many health complications and another lethal arrythmia he ended up staying in the hospital the whole month of December. We celebrated Christmas as a family in the hospital, even bringing a mini tree and all our stockings along. It really reminded us of what the holidays are about and how blessed we were to all be together.  

Thankfully, he is finally back at home and starting his long road to recovery. We are truly blessed that he is still here with us after everything that has happened.

For those of you who don't know my dad, he is one of the most generous and hard working people I have ever met. Not only has he always been an amazing provider for our family. but he is always there to lend a helping hand to those in need, in whatever way he can. He often puts others before himself but, this time he could use our help.  

The realization of our new life has been met with challenges.

He is in need of another heart operation as soon as possible and has other rehabilitation needs going forward. We are asking our friends, family, and community to please help us during this time in anyway they can. The money raised will be put towards medical and household expenses while my family transitions into a long term care plan.

My dad is putting all his energy into getting his strength back and preparing for the future ahead. The technological advances in medicine are astounding and we believe that with hard work, diligence, unity, and our faith in God we will pull through this as a family.
