Please help the Macedonia Street Dogs

Hi,

My name is Darko Vlahov, and I am raising much needed funds to assist with vet bills, food and shelter improvements for the street dog shelter I run in Shtip, Macedonia.

Once rescued, we do what the dogs need to get fit and healthy and ready to travel to countries in Europe and the UK for the chance of a lovely home.

Unfortunately street dogs in Macedonia do not have much of a chance of survival without this intervention. I face personal safety problems when I try and rescue the street animals, as locals here do not want them helped, to the point that I carry protective weapons with me for my own safety.

Pearl in the main picture was fending for herself, alone when I rescued her at 3 months old...she is one of the lucky ones, travelling to a wonderful home in the UK next week! It is only through your donations that we are able to undertake this vital work.

I believe that every animals deserves a chance of a good life, regardless of where they start, we do our utmost to ensure that they have a chance of a good ending.

Funds are very short, we channel all money received directly into the animal care, taking none for ourselves.

Please do help us if you can, the street dogs deserve it so much.
