GRINCH THIEVES STOLE THE MAAS FAMILY CHRISTMAS!

The Maas family is always one of the first families to step up and help others in need. Now, they are the ones in need!

Rotten thieves came to their home in Omaha late Saturday night and broke in to all their vehicles and STOLE THEIR VAN! Of course the van also had $5000+ in personal property inside, plus Christmas gifts, gift cards, and even Brigette’s wedding ring!

Additionally, Kevin had had to take off work to replace the front door to their home, re-key several locks at home and at Brigette’s office, and they’re working on replacing IDs, credit cards, etc., which means more expenses and time off work for both of them! And we all know there’s no paid time off when you’re self-employed! To make matters worse, they are already battling insurance to get a rental car.

But probably the worst thing of all is that they’ve been planning to leave on a family road trip to the Gulf Coast for their family Christmas and now may not even be able to do that!

It is the worst time of year for this financial stress and now they will have to get a new van to boot. Not all of this will be covered by insurance and they weren’t planning to get a new vehicle right now. If you are able to help chip in the alleviate some of the stress for them, it would be much appreciated!
