Steve was actively involved in his children's lives, whether it was cheering or coaching them on the soccer field, basketball court, track, or flag football field. He stood as the pillar of strength for his family when Stephanie had her own health challenges. He was known for his warm smile and friendly handshake, making everyone feel welcome.

On the morning of January 27, 2025, Steve Long, a cherished friend, husband, and father, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness that led to a sudden and acute cardiac arrest. He left this world leaving his wife Stephanie and their two young children, Tyson and Jules who are understandably heartbroken and trying to navigate this immense loss. They are in shock and have requested privacy as they seek to gather themselves and come to terms with what has happened. The pain of losing a loved one is always profound, but facing such an abrupt loss brings its own unique challenges. The family is also dealing with financial pressures, such as the costs associated with living expenses, future education and services for Tyson and Jules, and the inflated costs of raising children, combined with the absence of Steve’s income to help cover household expenses.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to help ease the financial strain and to allow Stephanie to focus on healing and caring for her children.
