Always cherish life and each other as it can change in the matter of seconds. One day you are waking up for work and able to function, and the next day you are waking up in a hospital. Waking up to a whole new person and not the man you always knew in the mirror. This is about a great man in my life and hopefully you have someone this great in your life.
This is the story of the forever changed Robert Alan Lang. Robert has worked his whole life as a mechanic and a truck driver. He has been married for 38 years and has three children and 8 grandchildren.
On July 15, 2018 Robert suffered a massive stroke. He now has a whole list of very dangerous medical conditions including
-Congestive heart failure (ejection fraction 35%) meaning his heart is working only 35%
-Severe COPD
-Diabetes
-Liver disease
-Major Stroke with paralysis and brain damage
And some we may not even know yet or he may develop.
On top of Robert now not being able to work his wife of 38 years, Debra Lang is already disabled and unable to work and receives a very limited income which is not enough to sustain them.
This family has had to deal with a lot over the last 6 months. They are still recovering from the loss of their oldest child and only son, Mitchell and now God gives them this.
Yes I strongly believe everything happens for a reason and you are only given what you can handle but this family needs our help. Not only monetarily but emotionally!! No amount is too small!! Even if you can’t donate please share this post and say a prayer for them as Robert, Debi and family have an extremely long road ahead.
When you wake up tomorrow morning, appreciate the life that was given to you. It’s a gift, NOT a guarantee!!!
On behalf of the Lang family we want to greatly appreciate you in advance for reading Robert’s story and saying a prayer in Roberts name and keeping them in your thoughts. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts as we can not begin this next journey of life alone.
