Please help the lakes family in this tough battle

Hi everyone my name is Kelly Gardner I’m a former student of Mr. Lakes this fundraiser is for the Lakes family as Mrs. Lakes is battling cancer once again. Mrs. Lakes is an amazing wife to Mr. Lakes and mother to 5 year old Abe’s. This family deserves everything from love to support to strength, seeing how much harder this is the third time around. Mr. Lakes has made a huge impact on me and all of his students he’s had throughout the years. Mrs. Lakes has also had a huge impact on all of Mr. Lakes students, from supporting all of our concerts, practices, choir tours etc. Mr. and Mrs. Lakes personalities radiates off each other. They support each other through absolutely everything. Mrs. Lakes is one of the strongest ladies from battling cancer 3 times. You can see the love and joy the Lakes family radiates to everyone especially his students. Here is a few words from alumni for the Lakes family… “Mr. Lake's quite literally began my entrance into being confident about singing, I never felt accepted by a teacher until Mr. Lakes“- Shawn Hochhauser. “Mr lakes brings that feeling of passion and welcoming into the choir atmosphere. He makes it feel like you are apart of his family “. -Brandon Natale. “Mr.Lakes creates a community everywhere he goes because so many Alumni are willing to support him and his family as the Lakes Family did for us during our years at Plainedge.” -Arianna Visconti. “Mr Lakes inspired me to be a teacher. He is so dedicated to his students and that is what I want to strive to be as a teacher.” -Kristin Ventricelli. Mr. Lakes hasn’t just made his classroom a normal classroom. He made it a family where everyone could be open about however they feel. New friends and relationships were created in this atmosphere. Mr. Lakes made a family that will never be broken. He taught all of us that it was a safe place and choir truly was. Mr. Lakes was open about everything with us which made us open up. This choir is a family and always will be. This family always comes together when needed so it would be greatly appreciated if everyone could donate something to help this beautiful family and beautiful women fight cancer.
