It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that this request for help is being made. On Sunday December 21st, just 4 days before Christmas, the Kunka family was faced with a terrible house fire that sadly took the life of Alyssa, wife of Scott and mother of Alex (4 yrs old). They are broken, faced at dealing with not only the tragedy of losing Alyssa but also their home and all belongings.

As they stay at their Moms/Grandmas (Baba), trying to deal with this tremendous loss, unable to work, having to replace belongings and pay bills, looking at how to make a future without their loved one and how to have a home with no insurance to cover the loss. It’s overwhelming.

May the Spirit in you give them encouragement to get through these next months while we seek what to do for a home. Please, let our hearts pour out to show these two some light in the darkness, and give them seed for new growth as they have to rebuild a new life.
