Please help the Kleinmann Family!

Hello all. My name is Bonnie and I'm reaching out on behalf of my friend and fellow officer Lee Kleinmann and his family.

On Thursday August 26th, 2021 Lee's wife April developed a sudden major complication with her pregnancy called placental abruption while Lee was working his midnight shift. She was rushed to the hospital with severe blood loss by EMS while Lee rushed to be by her side. Doctors performed an emergency cesarean to try to save their baby girl, Charlotte. Tragically, Charlotte did not survive and the Lord called her home.

April remains sedated on a ventilator in critical condition in the ICU, unaware of the events that have unfolded. April has an extensive medical history with an autoimmune disorder prior to this event. Since Thursday night, she has endured four surgeries to try to stabilize her. She is not out of the woods yet but she is fighting. Lee has been by her side daily while trying to care for their son Chase with the help of close family and friends.

In the meantime, we know that Lee will need help with funeral expenses for Charlotte, growing daily medical costs for April and daily needs like food, and care for Chase in the coming weeks and months.

Lee has dedicated himself to taking care of his family and his career to helping others. I'm hoping we can step up and help out our brother in blue. Please consider supporting him any way you can as he and his family endure the biggest challenge in their lives. Please pray for healing and peace in their hearts as they grieve the loss of Charlotte and April continues her battle. The family is forever grateful for your care, concern and help.
