Please help the Hutchinson Family

All of you know Terence Hutchinson. He is our friend, our classmate and was a star athlete growing up. Many of you also know his parents, Bill and Rosa. What most of you don’t know however that Bill is currently in Intensive Care in Jacksonville, Florida after a head on collision. Bill was driving home from and old classmate’s funeral when a truck pulling a horse trailer lost control and crossed the double yellow lines and directly into Bill’s path. Bill had no chance to avoid the collision.

Many of you know that Bill and Rosa moved to Georgia after they retired so they could be with family. Terence stayed here in Vacaville/Fairfield because this is his home but he flew out there every Thanksgiving and Christmas to see his dad and best friend. And you know he’s momma’s boy so Rosa would never allow him to miss a visit. In fact, Terence and Michelle and their 3 kids were out there visiting them for Thanksgiving when this tragedy happened.

Growing up, there was one thing I can assure you of, Mr. Hutchinson was a kind, giving man who would give the shirt off his back to help a stranger. He served this county for 46 years in the Air Force (Active Duty/ Contractor) and he never expected anything in return. He taught Terence to work hard for what you want and go get it. In fact, he was a role model to many young men in the neighborhood.

I’m asking you to join me to donate a little something to help the Hutchinson family in this true time of need. Terence and Rosa are currently staying in Jacksonville with Bill while he is in a coma. Due to an embolism in his brain, he is on a ventilator and needs this time to heal. Terence and Rosa will be there when he wakes, so it might be a while. Terence’s family had to come back to Fairfield however and there are challenges with that. Michelle has 3 young kids and they all need our help. Thank you and god bless.
