Please Help Support the Holcombe Family After a Traumatic Boat Accident

Hello, my name is Shea Marcinak. I’m reaching out on behalf of two of the most generous, hard-working people I know: my dear friends Jamie Holcombe and Jessica Munday Holcombe.

On Friday, April 18, Jamie and their son Hudson were in a traumatic boating accident while offshore. By the grace of God and Hudson’s heroic actions to save his dad, they survived — a blessing we are holding close. Jamie sustained multiple broken ribs, a painful shoulder injury, and the emotional toll of a life-altering experience. He was taken to the emergency room when they returned to the dock. While we’re hopeful for a strong recovery, he is still being assessed by doctors; the road ahead remains uncertain with the mobility of his shoulder and the follow-up medical care that will be needed. What we do know, is that all of these medical expenses will be out-of-pocket, and he is unable to run charters at this time, which provide for his family.

If you know Jamie and Jessica, you know they are the first to step up when someone needs help. I’ve lost count of the number of people Jessica has helped and advocated for over the years. Whether it’s dropping everything to support a friend (or even a stranger), volunteering their time, or quietly giving behind the scenes — their hearts are always open. They don’t ask for anything in return. Now, they’re the ones who need our support.

Jamie and Jessica are self-employed small business owners. Their charter business, Full Circle Fishing Charters, is their family’s passion and their livelihood. With Jamie unable to run trips during their busiest season and the unknown of medical bills, they are in a challenging spot. The timing couldn’t be worse — 2025 has already tested them in ways most of us can’t imagine.

This GoFundMe has a goal of $20,000 to help cover high-deductible medical expenses and keep Full Circle Fishing Charters afloat during this critical downtime so that Jamie can heal and their family can rest easy at night.

If you’ve ever fished with Jamie, been supported by their generosity, or simply believe in lifting up good people when they’re down — please consider making a donation.

Every gift, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated!

They’ve spent their lives pouring into others. Now, let’s surround them with the same love, strength, and support they’ve given so freely to the rest of us.

With gratitude,

Shea
