For many the hardest part is the diagnosis, for others it's the Healing Process.
Maribel was diagnosed with DCIS breast cancer. She will be undergoing multiple surgeries and treatment in the next 6 months. Unfortunately she does not qualifty for short term disability insurance because she is a part time employee.
I know what Mari thinks about, she is thinking about how is her husband going to manage everything while she recovers? THAT IS THE LAST thing she should be thinking about! The true key to healing is to be able to concentrate on oneself without the worries of how it is all going to work out? That is why I am starting this campaign, because I don't want Mari to EVER have to worry about (in the GRANDER SCHEME of things) the little details. It is uncertain how long her journey is going to take, but I do know that with our help it will make it an easier one knowing that she has people who care and will walk with her. Mari did not want to do this because she did not want to be a burden on anyone. However, I know from experience that she is always the first one help, Any donation big or small would be helpful in covering any extra medical costs and living expenses that their family will encounter.
