Hi, my name is Dave and Paul Taranto has been my close friend since kindergarten. Paul, who never asks anyone for anything, needs our help. He's recently been diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension -- a rare type of high blood pressure that causes extreme shortness of breath, fatigue, dizziness and swelling in legs and ankles. Right now Paul can't walk more than a few steps without gasping for air. There's no cure for Pulmonary Hypertension, only treatment. But it will take time to discover what, if anything, can improve his symptoms. Paul runs a landscaping business, he has a very physically demanding job and with this diagnosis, his business is in serious jeopardy. His loyal customers have been with him for years, but they will need their lawns tended to, and will most likely find a new lawn service while Paul is in treatment.

Paul and his wife Claudia are the kind of people who always host parties, who help you move, give rides to the airport and much much more. They would never want to inconvenience anyone. But, they have lost ALL of Paul's expected income for the forseeable future and could really use some financial support to cover their household bills while they figure out what's next.
