Please help the Greenlee-Franke Family...

Last Fall while Andy was out fishing, he fell and hit his head. After two days of headaches, he finally went in to get checked out. He thought he was suffering from a concussion from hitting his head. Unfortunately, Andy and his family were given devastating news, Andy had a level 2 grade brain tumor in his left temporal lobe which was still growing.

With any surgery, there are risks to weigh out. Andy and his family opted to take the risks and have Andy's brain tumor removed. The surgery took place on Wednesday, January 11th. Andy suffered a stroke post-op affecting his speech, language and some memory. With any type of brain surgery, there is not always a clear answer on how long recovery will take, especially when complications arise. Unfortunately in Andy's case, recovery is looking like it will take longer than expected and there is a good chance his tumor will return and have to undergo radiation and chemotherapy, and possibly another surgery. His wife (Melanie) is left to carry the responsibility for their two small children, including the family's finances for the indefinite future. To add, they just found out that their daycare is permanently closing!
