Please help the Goguen Family's Flood Relief Fund

Hi, my name is Molli and I am fundraising for the Goguen family. Unfortunately on 11/11/21 the Goguen's suffered a traumatic experience. Their apartment, that has been in the family for over 25 years, had a pipe burst, which in turn caused the sprinkler system to go off, by the time first responders arrived, there was roughly a foot water throughout their apartment. The majority of their belongings are irreplaceable due to water damage. Aside from that, the landlord is stating they will need to remain out of the apartment for 3 months while renovations take place. The landlord is only willing to pay for 2 weeks in a hotel and has already informed them rent will go up when/if they return due to renovations. This is because they are "tenants at will", so a minimum of a 30 day eviction notice is required by law. They are in the process of pursuing legal action due to this, however in the meantime, they are stuck with what minimal belongings were recoverable and the expenses of a hotel. Please consider donating if you're able and/or sharing, any little bit can help this amazing family come out on top during this tragic time.
