Dear Friends,

The Girard family has suffered a devastating loss. On August 19th, the family said their goodbyes to John Girard, treasured husband, father of 6, grandfather, brother and son.

John was always positive and put his family first. He wouldn’t hesitate to help anyone, always going above and beyond to care for others. He was a man of God and a man of pure heart. His death was sudden and unexpected and he leaves behind Vicki, his best friend and wife, and their two young children. John was their sole provider, so now the responsibility of providing for Abigail and Lucas will be on Vicki. The Girard family has been a pillar of the Kalamazoo area homeschool community and now are involved in the Lansing area. They have served the homeschooling community for many years and many families have benefited from the co-ops, field trips, and social activities organized by Vicki. We now have the opportunity to serve them in their time of need.

Please consider helping John’s loved ones through this difficult time as they navigate this tragedy and move forward in their loss.
