Hello everyone! My name is Victoria. Justin is my brother in law and as many of you know he is a great person!
Unfortunately, Justin woke up on December 13th, unexpectedly unable to walk. He has had issues with his feet/legs in the past but never thought anything like this would come from it.
After a few days of still being unable to walk, our lovely sister in law got him an appointment with the Orthopedic clinic. When he went in for his appointment on Jan 17th, they ran some tests and pulled some fluid from his knee, sent it for testing and sent him home.
Later that same day, Justin received a call that he needed to return back to the hospital, where more tests were ran and it was determined he needed to have an emergency surgery as his knee had septic infection. They took him in for his surgery, were they cleaned out the infection and then admitted him. Since being hospitalized, there have been some complications. Thinking that Justin would be released on Monday Jan 22nd, he was not. He is now expected to remain inpatient until the beginning of next week.
When Justin is released, he is to continue on his antibiotic medications to prevent further infection. The antibiotics are extremely pricey… His copays for his IV antibiotics that they are ordering at home are $1400 and that’s just for two weeks. Not to mention, he has been out of work for over a week and we are unsure of when he will be able to return. He is the sole supporter of his family currently.
I am asking anyone that can help Justin in his time of need, to please pull together and do what we can. Anything raised, will go to his medication cost and to help hold them over until he can return back to work.
If you cannot donate, please pray for Justin and his family.
