Please help the Bohlender family of Allen Park

Hi, my name is Sarah and I am fundraising for the Bohlender family.

Tammy and John have been happily married for 22 years. They are the proud parents of nine foster children that they adopted, who have all attended Allen Park public school. Tammy and John also help Tammy’s father in caring for her autistic sister, showing so much love and dedication to their family. Tammy and John don’t just care about their family they truly care about everyone. They are the first to help anyone they can.

On a typical Friday, April 5, John was at work doing what he loves - driving a truck and making deliveries. Unfortunately, he had an accident and ended up in the hospital with several broken bones and unable to walk. He is still recovering and hoping to be transferred to a rehabilitation center close to home so he can continue his recovery with his loved ones by his side.

Just a few weeks before John's accident, their 18-year-old son, Jacob, had a scary fall and ended up fracturing his hip. Tammy and John being the caring parents they are, took him to the emergency room and got him the care he needed. Little did they know, this was just the beginning of their medical journey.

Jacob was diagnosed with cancer after undergoing a bone marrow biopsy. Jacob is a senior at Allen Park High School, he is a kind-hearted young man who loves working at his part time job when not in school or participating in sports. Jacob loves playing football and track. Despite his health challenges, Jacob has remained positive and keeping hope we will still be able to join the Navy, eager to serve his country after graduation.

Throughout all these challenges, Tammy, John, and Jacob have shown incredible strength and resilience. They have each other's backs and are facing these tough times with love and support. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through these difficult times.
