About six weeks ago, Rusty went to the Gretna emergency room, was positive for Covid and transfered to Lynchburg hospital. The next six weeks were painstakingly terrible for his family and for him. Days of no response, ventilator, peg, trach, etc. Annette has been driving back and forth to the hospital every day. She has prayed over him constantly. Yesterday he was moved to Virginia Baptist and it took him back a little. He will be in a long term care facility for a while. He has to re learn so many basic things we take for granted. While all this is going on, the bills continue and on top of that, the medical bills will start mounting up soon. Rusty does get disability but if anyone has ever been through this you know that this is only a % of your pay.
