Please help the Beavan family with their sweet puppy, Minna.

Hi friends,
I am reaching out looking for help for the Beavan family, a lovely family (Suzanne and Aiden), who have been a part of our hockey world for many, many years. They really need our help.
Their sweet puppy has had a rough go to say the least. Minna is just over 1 year old and was diagnosed early on with severe hip dysplasia, the worst the vet had ever seen. This required a total hip replacement (one hip first). Prior to her hip surgery, some routine blood and urine tests showed a serious bladder infection, resistant to most antibiotics, as well as a prolapsed vulva. This lead to treatment and surgery to fix the prolapse, prior to her hip surgery being approved. On April 28th, Minna was healthy enough to undergo her hip replacement surgery and her road to recovery was going to be hard, as she had to stay in her crate for weeks, only to go out to do her business. 3 weeks later, she began vomiting and aspirated, leading to pneumonia. She spent 2 days in hospital and bounced back from this.
Just when she was on the road to recovery, yesterday she got her paw stuck on her mat and she fell, screaming in pain. After another trip to hospital, Suzanne and Aiden got the worst news ever- her hip came completely out - ball out of socket- and she will require further surgery (back to square one) to repair the damage. Suzanne and Aiden are heading back to Vancouver this evening for surgery tomorrow. Minna’s surgeon is in Vancouver. Although Suzanne has pet insurance, it only covers a portion of these expenses. For anyone with pets, you know how costly these tests, treatments, and of course multiple surgeries can cost… not to mention ferry costs and hotel costs.
I am hoping that the sports community, both baseball and definitely hockey friends/ families, or anyone who has been touched by this family or by this story, can help take some of this financial burden off. They really need our help right now! Please consider donating to help take a huge stress off of them so they can focus their efforts into helping and loving Minna while she heals. Any amount goes a long way… Thank you for taking the time to read my message…
