Hi, my name is Katie and I’m reaching out to you because our dear friend (and neighbor) could use a little help. Pat was diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer in November. He underwent chemo and radiation and had surgery June first to remove the cancer and ended up taking 2/3 of his esophagus and 1/3 of his stomach out. After the surgery there was a slight complication and Pat was readmitted to the ICU to have another procedure performed.

He will be off of work for at least 3-6 months, and his wife has had to take off work for the foreseeable future to be by his side as well as care for their children.

Pat is not one to ask for help, but will always be the first one to help. He is truly one of the most selfless people I have ever met.

Anything you are able to contribute would be greatly appreciated by the family and would help to relieve some stress during this time.
