Please help the Barajas Family

Some of you know our current story and some might be surprised by it, if we have not talked for a while.  About 6 months ago we were given custody of our niece.  She was in fostercare when we were told about her existance.  She is currently a little over 9 months old.  Yes!  Cenci leaves for the Marines and now another  baby girl in the Barajas House!   We have not been able to post pictures of her because she is still  a   part of a Child Protective Services case, and has been since birth.

Without  going into much detail publically, we are currently in the process of trying to adopt her officially.  We want to continue to provide her with a stable, loving home within our family.  This process is, and has been, an emotional one,  as well as an expensive one.  

We recently hired a lawyer to help with this situation and  have already paid a very large amount in legal fees.  We recently tried Mediation to avoid going to trial but were unsuccesful.  Now we have been told we are going to trial in November and will need payment for that as well.  

All funds raised will go directly in an account for her.  They will pay for legal fees and if all goes well, adoption fees.
