Please Help Terry Eastham on His Road to Recovery

My name is Christine Nordstrom, and I am Terry Eastham’s wife. Those of you who know Terry know he is one of the nicest, funniest, hardworking, and selfless people you have ever met. He is one hell of a friend and person.
Terry has suffered some significant setbacks in the last few years. In May of 2019, Terry lost the ability to walk. He was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis and could not work for six months. This put an incredible strain on us financially since Terry works for himself as a tile setter. The medical bills racked up, we wiped out all our savings, and we slid backward for a bit. Terry was able to go back to work in November of 2019, and we were thankful. Then Covid hit. Terry’s work stalled like the world. We have kept above water until this past Saturday.
As many of you may know, Terry had an “Event” on Saturday, February 19th, that caused him to fall and break his neck. We are unsure what caused this “event”. He had several tests done at the hospital. They were able to rule out a heart attack but did not give us many answers to what happened. Terry will be seeing several doctors over the next few weeks, including his neurologist, to see if we can figure out what is medically happening with him. But due to the broken neck, he is again unable to work or drive. I will have to miss some days of work to get him to these appointments. This is going to put us in a crisis financially.
One of the hardest things I have had to do is ask people for help, but we need your help. We need to stay afloat for the next few months while Terry heals and figure out what is medically happening with him. We have no idea what the future holds for us, and a little stability would make this situation a little more manageable.
Thank you for reading this, and thank you for caring for the most wonderful man I know!
