On the night of October 24th, Javits Center Executive Steward Terrance Ellis was at home when the lower floors of his building caught on fire. Thankfully, everyone evacuated the building timely and safely. The morning after, FDNY declared the building as uninhabitable and as a result, Terrance, his fiancé, autistic daughter and the rest of his family (two daughters and a grandson) were displaced with no immediate alternatives available.
