Hello my name is Rachel, as people know my dogs are my life and unfortunately my baby Ted has run into some health complications.

I have pet insurance but because of these complications the insurance has run out. A warning for all, please check your insurance

Ted was rushed into the vets after being at home and experiencing excruciating pain and sickness. Ted even found a place to lay to give up. When in the vets he was diagnosed with a blockage so they investigated by opening him up but discovered it was his pancreas, suspected pancreatitis. They started treatment which was paid for and he was allowed home because he wouldn’t eat and hoped that being at home he would eat. This was not the case.

when home he deteriorated and was rushed back to the vets that night as an emergency.

It was then discovered that Ted has caught an infection along with the pancreatitis which may have been caused by the previous surgery.

As it stands we don’t know how long Ted will be in the vets for but the bills are building up. At the moment it’s £7000 but this will increase day to day. I have recently had knee surgery and currently I am not receiving an income this has caused so much stress.

calling out to all animal lovers out there to help a loving dog mum get her baby well again. I don’t want to give up on my baby and I know he’s not ready to give up, he’s only seven and has so many good years left in him he has a little sister Tilly who is missing him dearly.

Hes not ready to give up and the vets have said he can beat this.

I wouldn’t normally do this but due to an array of things I am desperate.

anything over what has been needed for Teds recovery will be donated to an animal charity.
