I'm writing this to ask you to open your hearts and help our dear friend Svetlana. Back in 2020, she was diagnosed with colon cancer. Unfortunately, with the pandemic and some bad luck, the treatments she received were not as effective as we all hoped. A few months ago, she was feeling unwell and went for a recheck and they discovered that the cancer had spread significantly.

She now has stage 4 metastatic cancer which might ultimately take her life. She has a husband and a 13 year old daughter who she loves dearly, so she’s continues to fight back against the cancer.

Though she is in good spirits, the battle has taken a major tole on her body and their finances.

Her husband Tom is retired, still works part time, but their income is not sufficient to cover the costs of the medical treatments and supportive care.

The emotional impact on the family also makes it hard find new work when the focus is on the precious little time they have left together.
